Rahul Gandhi : Make All Covid-19 Equipment GST Free

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi a Congress leader asked adminstration on Monday to remove the GST on all COVID-19 related equipments.

He said it was “off-base” in which the Goods and Services Tax (GST) was imposed on ascetics, scavengers and covers.

Mr. Gandhi tweeted in Hindi, “During this troubled time of COVID-19, we are constantly requesting that GST should not be levied at all with the officials of this plague.”

He said, “It is not right to collect GST on sannyasis, scavengers, veil, gloves etc. Individuals who are facing illness and destruction. We will continue to be in our interest of #GSTFreeCorona.

” Mr. Gandhi joined a group of things with the GST imposed on him by the legislature.

As indicated, 18 percent of GST is demanded on sanitizers, fluid hand washes and furniture, for example, emergency clinic beds and assessment tables, 12 percent on blood test strips, clinical assessment of oxygen and hydrogen peroxide. , And some life-saving drugs including 5 percent, demonstrative units and antibodies on the cover.

The Youth Congress had proposed a crusade, independently requesting that GST should not be imposed on hardware identified with coronaviruses.
