Jamshedpur : Five people have died in a road accident on NH-49 at Matiyal in Bahragowda police station area of East Singhbhum district on Friday. Three people died on the spot, while two died during treatment. Only one child is left in this horrific road accident. He has suffered minor injuries.

The woman and her elder son, who were injured in the road accident, were in critical condition, while the younger son suffered minor injuries. Police reached the spot on the incident and sent the three dead bodies for postmortem. It is said that this incident happened due to take over.
The car driver was Raju Nayak from Haldia in West Bengal. Prince Maurya, friend of Prince Maurya, resident of Haldia, Shashi Maurya, Prince Maurya’s wife Shashi Maurya and son Alok Maurya were killed in this road accident, while Prince Maurya’s son Abhilok Maurya is safe. Shashi and Alok Maurya are said to be in critical condition, while Abhilok Maurya suffered minor injuries.
Prince Maurya is said to have worked in a company in Haldia, West Bengal. He brought his wife and children from Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh by taking a car on rent.
Apart from Rajkumar, the driver and friend of Rajkumar were in this car. All of them reached Fatehpur and left for Haldia with wife and children.
While returning, the car tried to overtake a vehicle near Matiyal in Bahragoda, but the car went uncontrolled. After this accident, the injured were sent to the hospital with the help of local people.
