Jharkhand: Yesterday holiday , October 5, all offices will be closed
In Jharkhand yesterday, October 5 has been declared a government holiday. Under the order of the Governor, the Personnel Department has issued a notification for the same. During this time all offices under the Government of Jharkhand will remain closed.
The state government has announced a two-day state mourning over the death of Minister Haji Hussain Ansari. During this time, the national flag will remain half-tilted in government offices. Along with this, a holiday has been declared on Monday in all government offices.
Let us tell you that Jharkhand’s Minority Welfare Minister Haji Hussain Ansari died on Saturday. He was treated at Medica Hospital in Ranchi.
73-year-old Haji Hussain Ansari was suffering from diabetes and heart disease besides corona infection. Prior to this, he also had to undergo a heart operation to install a pacemaker.
At the same time, a corona infection had reached his lungs. Ansari arrived in Ranchi from Madhupur on 16 September. During this time he also participated in the monsoon session starting from 17 September.
Himanshu Shekhar Chaudhary, who was an advisor to the Chief Minister, in his response to the news of Minister Haji Hussain Ansari said that I was shocked to hear this news. This is a personal shock to me.
Despite being older than me, he always behaved friendly. Whenever he had to get any kind of advice on a subject, he would call home and have a long conversation.
This is only a matter of recent times. He had a long discussion with me on the issue related to salary and pension of madrasa teachers. It showed its uneasiness to resolve an issue.
I remember today is 2013, when Hemant Soren was the Chief Minister and I used to be the political advisor to the Chief Minister. Many madrasas were not receiving government grants due to technical reasons.
Haji saheb always talked to the Chief Minister on this issue and talked and pressured almost everyday to find a way out. For the then Chief Minister Hemant Soren, I brought inconvenience to Haji Saheb.
After much struggle to resolve the issue following the Chief Minister’s directive, the Madrasas who were not receiving government grants, got grants for this, for which a resolution related to removing government bottlenecks was passed from the cabinet.
I remember that Haji Sahib hugged me soon after I got the proposal from the cabinet and he told me that Himanshu ji will present Sherwani for your efforts.
